Supporters of congestion pricing spent decades trying to jam a round peg into a square hole that resulted in passage, lawsuits, a pause, a reduction in the toll, and, now, withdrawal of federal approvals. If they had spent any time negotiating a
nuanced plan in good faith with working class communities with zero or near zero MTA public transit like mine, we would not be in this situation. Now, the next round of never ending lawsuits are forthcoming.”
