Last week a luncheon (pro-bono) at the Town of Crawford Senior Center was attended by a huge group of local veterans and community members, and sharing their war stories were prominent guest speakers who represented the Navy, Army, and Air Force, led by Orange County Executive, Steve Neuhaus, Commander in the US Navy Reserves (and who was deployed to Iraq for almost a year while serving as the Orange County Executive),  Alan Mack, Deputy Commissioner of the Orange County Department of Emergency Services (Army), read his mind-boggling story in his bestselling book, “Razor 03”, and Col. Andrew Townsend, Pilot with the 105th Airlift Wing (Air Force). They shared their harrowing experiences in the military and in war and emphasized their ongoing commitment to supporting all in the veteran communities. This free luncheon was hosted by East Coast Industrial Services, Inc. (ECIS) and the Presutti family and served as an opportunity to honor and recognize the contributions of local veterans, celebrating and thanking the over 100 Veterans in attendance for their many sacrifices.  East Coast Industrial Services, Inc. is operated by the Presutti family. These brave men and women who protected America and all of our families were thanked with a standing ovation. Thank you to all our Veterans, for your service to our Country and to all of us for your bravery, support and commitment. You will always be remembered.
