Last week was the first of the 2025 New York Legislative session, and I was proud to raise my right hand to be sworn in as Senator to the 42nd District. This session, like every session, promises to be busy and filled with opportunities to advance the interests of Orange County and ensure our communities are getting what they need.
I’ll be fighting for funding for our schools, first responders, youth programs, veteran groups, municipal needs, and libraries. I’ll be introducing legislation to address public safety, bills that protect our election integrity and consumers in every marketplace, disability rights, our farmland, and farmers. And, it’s long past time the state repaved more of our roads. I’ll be pushing on all of these issues and, most importantly, advancing new ideas to make our high-tax state more affordable.
There is a lot to be accomplished this year, and I’m proud to be your voice in every room, chamber, and at every table.
