Greenwood Lake held their annual Holiday Festival and Tree Lighting on Saturday, November 30 at Ben Winstanley Park. Santa arrived in the fire truck and many children lined up to get a picture with him. Along with Santa Claus, Buddy the Elf and the Grinch were part of the festivities. There were vendors selling food and crafts, free horse and carriage rides, a lighted walking holiday path, and live music. The Warwick Valley High School Meistersingers performed, and other local groups and scouting troops also performed throughout the day. The tree lighting concluded the successful event.
