Governor George Pataki Endorses Dorey Houle for State Senate

Politics
Florida, NY. – Former New York Governor George Pataki today endorsed Monroe Councilwoman Dorey Houle for New York State Senate in District 42.

“No matter how you cut it, New York is in crisis,” said Governor Pataki. “Dorey Houle is the only candidate in this race with the record and vision to get the Empire State moving in the right direction. I’m proud to endorse her.”

A dedicated public servant with a career spanning four decades, Pataki served as the mayor of Peekskill and in both chambers of the New York Legislature before being elected governor in 1994.

“In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, Governor Pataki led our state with courage, compassion, and true grit,” said Councilwoman Houle. “I’m proud to have his endorsement and prouder to call him a friend.”
