Ryan Routh is accused of aiming an AK-47 at former President Trump while he was golfing at his course in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Sunday. he man suspected, Ryan Wesley Routh, camped outside the golf courses in West Palm Beach with food and a rifle for nearly 12 hours, according to court documents. Authorities say a witness spotted and snapped a photo of Routh coming out of the bushes and hopping into a car. Routh was later stopped by law enforcement in a neighboring county. In court on Monday, September 16th the judge read the potential penalties for each charge. The first offense carries a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and supervised release. The second offense carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison, a $250,000 fine and supervised release. Routh responded “yes” when asked if he understood the penalties. The U.S. McMichael asked the judge for Routh to remain in custody, arguing that he is a pre-trial flight risk and citing an alleged attempt to obstruct. Secret Service agents stationed a few holes up from where Trump was playing golf noticed the muzzle of an AK-style rifle sticking through the shrubbery that lines the course, roughly 400 yards away. Despite authorities initially describing the weapon as an AK-style rifle, court documents say agents later recovered an SKS-style rifle from the area from which Routh fled. In the affidavit attached to the criminal complaint, an FBI agent wrote that based on his training and knowledge, that type of rifle is not manufactured in Florida, indicating probable cause to believe that the SKS-style rifle seized from the tree line at Trump’s Golf Course which apparently previously traveled through interstate or foreign commerce. The serial number was “obliterated” and unreadable to the naked eye, the document said. An agent fired and Routh dropped the rifle and fled in an SUV, leaving the firearm behind along with two backpacks, an aiming scope and a GoPro camera, authorities said. Ralph Reed, a longtime evangelical political powerhouse, is blaming Vice President Harris, and other Democrats and slanted media for a “toxic political environment” that he says have paved the way for two attempts on former President Trump’s life. Reed expressed his opinion and said that criticism of Trump as a “would-be dictator” and threat to democracy is part of a pattern of “lies and smears and slurs” that have effectively given permission to “anyone with a screw loose” to think “they were doing a public service by trying to end Trump’s life.” Authorities have no information so far to suggest that the suspect in the apparent assassination attempt on Trump was acting with anyone else, an FBI official said. A special agent in charge of the FBI Miami Field Office cautioned that the investigation is still underway and that authorities are working to confirm whether Routh acted alone. What has happened to this country in four short years? People are making snide remarks about two attempted assassination attempts on Trump’s life. SHAME ON YOU! No one is fighting fair and the left side is encouraging the non-thinking public  to take action against their opponents. Where does it stop? I ask all unbiased, “thinking American citizens”, to ask themselves, how come Trump is being targeted? How fearful is the opposition that they want him dead.
