WARWICK — Warwick Valley Rotarians are seeking additional nominations for Warwick’s 2024-2025 Citizen of the Year and for two Outstanding Community Service Awards. Candidates should be volunteers who have demonstrated a commitment to community service over an extended time.
A letter outlining the accomplishments and reasons for the nomination can be emailed to Pattilurye@gmail.com or cvpwarwick@gmail.com. Deadline for nominations is Saturday, Sept. 7.
A celebration for this year’s Citizen of the Year and two Outstanding Community Service Award honorees will be held on Wednesday evening, Oct. 23, at The Landmark Inn.
The Warwick Valley Rotary Club, a service organization of 80 community-minded local men and women, is sponsoring the annual event under the leadership of co-chairs Cindy Vander Plaat and Patti Lurye Dempster.
