KINGSTON, NY — On Tuesday, Aug.6th, Congressman Pat Ryan released his third ad in three weeks, highlighting that his Trump-backed opponent only does what the national Republican party tells her, rather than standing up for Hudson Valley families.
“Upper East Alison doesn’t care about Hudson Valley families; she’s just another MAGA mouthpiece, doing whatever Trump and his far-right allies tell her to do,” said Sam Silverman, a spokesman for Congressman Ryan. “Our community doesn’t need another Marjorie Taylor Greene in Congress. We need a Patriot like Pat who puts country before party and will work with anyone, on either side of the aisle, to deliver.”
In just the last week, Trump falsely suggested that somehow Vice President Harris is not Black, said that Harris, whose literal husband is Jewish, does not like Jewish people, and said he’d pardon convicted felons who assaulted police officers. JD Vance, who, for his part, referred to pregnancies from rape as “inconvenient,” cannot get through a sentence without insulting large swaths of the electorate.
