Last week Warwick Valley Rotary experienced a first. Two people were installed as Co-Presidents. However, these two people are husband and wife and that would be David and Patti Dempster. They also delighted the audience with their amazing musical talent with Patti singing “Let’s Give’em Something to Talk About (Bonnie Raitt’s hit) & Heat Wave while Daivd brought the heat and the beat on the drums. They met in the early 90’s, married in 1996 and they are still making great music together for themselves and Rotary! Even the storm that swept through on Wednesday evening did not deter the full house and everyone got home safe thanks to our dedicated DPW and Chief Radar and the Warwick Police Department. Congrats to the Dempsters’ and here’s to an amazing year for all those who benefit each year from the tireless work of the dedicated Rotarians.
