Six thousand of our favorite people sang, danced and ate to their heart’s content at the summer Monroe Food Truck Festival this past weekend. The Monroe Dial-A-Bus transported almost 2,000 back and forth from the Park & Ride to the festival from 11am until 7pm. The visitors even sang together on their bus ride. Fun was had by all including those singing and dancing to the live bands that performed for the entire day. Over 20 Food Trucks most of which sold out served everything from Mac & Cheese to Lobster Rolls. More than welcome was the State Police who were recruiting and answering all questions posed by the attendees plus both the Orange County Sheriff’s Office and the Village of Monroe’s police department shared their canine demonstrations which is always a hit with young and old alike. All in all, everyone raved and agreed that once again, the Monroe Food Truck was a complete success, entertaining and fulfilling, both in food and fun! The profits from the festival were donated to the Harriman Engine Company Ladies Auxiliary, who serve, support and assist the entire Fire District in Monroe. Be sure to put  a reminder on your calendar for the next Monroe Food Truck Festival  which will be in October when they do it all again. Do not miss out on one of Orange County’s successful festivals. SO many are involved in putting this amazing event together including
