Hospice of Orange & Sullivan Counties held its Annual Gala at West Hills Country Club in Middletown this past Saturday evening and the room sparkled with both the décor and all the amazing guests who attended including the honorees, Michael Gilfeather, the President & CEO of Orange Bank & Trust who gave a heartfelt speech that brought the room to its feet to a standing ovation! Also honored was Dr. Susan Jensen and Horizon Family Medical Group. Pat Larkin, the late Senator Bill Larkin’s wife, said, “they don’t make doctors like Susan anymore. She truly cares about her patients.” We were told we had the “power” table with Congressman Pat Ryan, Jonah Mandelbaum and his lovely wife, Donna Applegate, former State Senator, Mike Martucci, the next State Senator, Dorey Houle and her husband, Anthony, RJ Smith and his wife Liz and of course Frank Truatt. The sold out event was an inspiration for all the comfort and care hospice offers!
