April Event is First Post-Covid Training Aimed at Enhancing DWI Enforcement and Prosecution
Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler announced that the District Attorney’s Office has co-sponsored an April DWI Training Conference for law enforcement in the Hudson Valley. The event, which is open to local law enforcement agencies and officers, will focus on the aspects necessary for a successful DWI investigation, arrest and prosecution. Senior staff members of the District Attorney’s Office will join District Attorney Hoovler in presenting to the attendees.
“Driving while intoxicated or impaired cases continue to be amongst the most significant crimes facing county residents who regularly travel our shared roadways,” said District Attorney Hoovler. “The prosecution of these cases has always been a cornerstone priority of my Office and I appreciate every opportunity to work with local law enforcement to enhance our ability to hold these offenders accountable. I am thrilled to co-sponsor this important event because an investment in law enforcement and training helps to ensure the safety of our entire community.”
