Celebrate the season at a Listening Party featuring Dylan Thomas’s “A Child’s Christmas In Wales” at Baird’s Tavern in Warwick, New York, Sunday, December 19th from two to four P.M. Hosted by Milkweed Poetry Workshop, the Warwick Historical Society, and Baird’s Tavern, this free event features a twenty-minute streaming of Dylan Thomas reading his beloved memoir, followed by a poetry open mic, and a celebration with cookies and cider. Milkweed Poetry Workshop, which meets the third Wednesday of every month at the Buckbee Center in Warwick, is a generative poetry for hearing poems, making poems, and sharing poems (if you want to). This month it is celebrating it’s three-hundred-and-fifteenth meeting. It also meets on Zoom the first Wednesday of each month. All events are free. Poets and non-poets welcome!
