As we find ourselves in festive full swing, amidst the exuberance of the holiday season, I am filled with gratitude as I reflect on the incredible spirit of unity flourishing within our Orange County communities.
My team and I recently distributed over 100 meals during our annual Thanksgiving canned goods drive in collaboration with Agri-Business Child Development (ABCD), Jewish Family Services of Orange County, and various other non-profit organizations. The event aimed to ensure that our families could enjoy a warm, nourishing meal on Thanksgiving Day, and it was in large part thanks to all of you – local constituents who donated the sorts of pantry staples some might take for granted that, in the hands of a family in need, can go a long way.
Reflecting on this spirit of giving, along with the cherished moments spent with my family and loved ones this week, I am reminded of my deep gratitude for the multitude of community partnerships we’ve been fortunate to cultivate, and the incredible residents that make up our communities. It’s the concerted efforts of each and every individual that form the bedrock of our community’s resilience and vitality, and I am genuinely honored to play a role in facilitating these efforts. To our incredible Orange County neighbors, I wish you a holiday season brimming with joy, warmth, and laughter.
