In the latest season of the highly-anticipated talent show, The Voice, a young star has taken the stage by storm. Meet Warwick’s own Julia Roome, a 13-year-old vocal powerhouse, whose extraordinary audition during the Blind Auditions has captured the hearts of both the audience and the judges. Julia may be the youngest in the competition, but has already accomplished so much in her life. She’s gigging several times a month, singing the national anthem, and has performed in both an Off-Broadway play and many regional ones, as well. Julia had an opportunity to sing at the Friars Club as well as amateur night at the Apollo where she’s won twice. Keegan Ferrell, a Season 20 contestant, noticed her on social media when her original EP reached number 9on the the iTunes charts, prompting him to work with Julia to continue building a portfolio of original music. Their first song together, “Childhood,” garnered a massive amount of attention and has the most streams to date. When Julia isn’t gigging or recording, she’s playing softball for her travel softball team. Julia is extremely competitive and used to ski race before deciding to focus more on music.

Julia’s performance , last week on Season 24 of The Voice, of the classic hit “Dream a Little Dream of Me” was nothing short of enchanting. Within a mere 30 seconds of her opening notes, the iconic popstar and former One Direction member, Niall Horan, couldn’t resist and swiveled his chair around in a dramatic fashion. Soon after, the legendary Gwen Stefani followed suit, turning her chair to express her eagerness to have Julia on her team.

With two of the show’s superstar judges vying for her talents, Julia faced the crucial decision of choosing her Coach. In a nail-biting moment, she made her choice, and it was none other than Niall Horan who earned the honor of mentoring this young sensation.

The dual chair turns marked a turning point in Julia’s journey, securing her spot on The Voice stage. Her undeniable talent and charisma have already made her a standout contestant in this season’s lineup.

As Julia moves forward in the competition, she will face the Battle Round and Knockouts, with her eyes set on the ultimate goal: performing live and continuing to impress viewers and judges alike. Don’t miss a moment of her incredible journey on The Voice!
