On February 16, members of the Warwick Valley Rotary Club prepared and served a surf and turf dinner for volunteers of the Warwick Community Ambulance Corps and Emergency Medical Service (EMS). In addition to dinner, each member received a hand-painted wine glass as a thank you for their volunteer service. Rotary Club President Leo R. Kaytes stated “With everything each and every EMT does in our community, our club really wanted to show our appreciation.” Besides steak and lobster tails, the menu included winter salad, southwestern chicken soup, green beans almondine, eggplant vegetarian, mushroom risotto, and red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese. Lisa Kevins painted the wine glasses and chaired the event with assistance from Patricia Starick and more than a dozen additional Rotarians. (Photo by Wayne Patterson)
