The Greenwood Lake Street Fair was held on Sat., June 12 along Windermere Ave. in the heart of the Village. Hosted by the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce and the Village of Greenwood Lake, a day of great food, shopping, music, and local artists filled the beautiful weekend day. Everyone who attended enjoyed this annual fair that was cancelled last year due to the pandemic.
Hundreds of people strolled down the avenue visiting booths, playing carnival-type games, listening to live music and enjoying delicious food. Over seventy vendors were in attendance, including GWL Bakery, FM Designs, The GL Coalition, The GL Ambulance Corps, and many others. Merchandise such as American flags, handmade blankets and soaps, clothing, home decor and artwork made by local artists were just some of the many things that could be found while visiting the fair.
“I would personally like to thank each and every one of you for coming out to the GWL Street Fair yesterday… Over the past five years being a part of the Executive Board of the Chamber of Commerce has taught me so many things and given me some great friends,” said Chris Van Vooren, Vice President of the Greenwood Lake Chamber of Commerce, “Working together with The Greenwood Lake Police Department and the Parks Department allowed us to have a safe and successful event.”
