The following are three important activities that will be taking place in the next week and are well worth participating in.
June 17 at 6 p.m. Warwick’s Triple Win Campaign Zoom Webinar.
The Triple Win Campaign is co-sponsored by the Village of Warwick and Sustainable Warwick. The webinar is an information session on Community Solar and all are invited. This program may be of particular interest to Villagers, especially residents who are on small lots or in apartments, townhouses, or condominiums where construction of solar panels is not possible. This is a program that connects your energy needs with local solar arrays. It’s called Triple Win because signing up is a win for the environment. Signing up allows a contribution of $100 to participating nonprofits: Warwick Valley Humane Society, Warwick Valley Community Center, Safe Space America, Family Central, Grow Local Greenwood Lake and The Warwick Valley Historical Society. And the third win is that O&R customers get up to 10% off their electricity bills PLUS a $100 sign up bonus! The campaign runs until July 15th.
For general questions about Community Solar please contact Sustainable Warwick, cleanenergy@sustainablewarwick.org Please contact the Albert Wisner Public Library at 986-1047 or visit www.albertwisnerlibrary.org.
