GLPD Hosts Boater Safety Course

With the increased boater use on Greenwood Lake, our Police Department is encouraging boat operators to get certified. All boat operators will be required to have a boater safety certificate by 2025 and we offer many convenient courses throughout the year to help those in need. The next course is being held on Tues., June 29 and Wed., June 30 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the courthouse. Both evenings are required for successful completion of the course. If you would like to sign up, you may either call Village Police at 477-9211 or sign up in the dispatch office at 14 Church St. The fee for the course is $35.
