Warwick Valley High School recognizes Maegan Courcy and Tegh Singh and this week’s Student-Athletes of the Week, sponsored by ALLSTATE Insurance Bill Garcia Agency.
Senior Maegan Courcy is a four-year member of the Varsity Ski team and the Varsity Lacrosse team and is a captain for the 2021 Wildcats. She has a weighted average of 104, is a National Honor Society Member and Senator for the Class of 2021 and has been recognized as a NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete all seasons of her varsity career. Maegan will be attending Endicott College in Beverly, MA in the fall, majoring in Marketing and playing lacrosse for the Gulls of the Commonwealth Coast Conference.
Maegan is the daughter of Todd and Sandy Courcy of Chester. Her sister Bryn is a freshman in the high school.
Senior Tegh Singh carries an overall average of 100 and is a two-sport captain in both soccer and tennis. He is a NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete and member of both the National Honor and Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Societies. Tegh will be attending Wesleyan University and playing soccer for Cardinals that compete in the “Little Ivy’s” of the NESCAC Conference.
Tegh is the son of Dr. Sandeep and Sandy Singh of Warwick. His sister, Gursimar, is a senior at Syracuse University and brother, Harsev, is a sophomore at Colgate.
