Throughout the COVID 19 pandemic Town employees have continued to provide the services our residents required. While we evolved the process for providing those services there was not a day that they were not available to our residents. For that we are grateful and thank them, as well as our residents, for adapting as necessary.
I am pleased to announce that as of Mon., May 3, Town Hall resumes normal activities and access by the public to all offices in the building. Masks are still required throughout the building, and I want to thank residents for their cooperation in advance.
Recently a small plane experienced engine trouble when taking off from Warwick Municipal Airport and crashed just on a rural part of Wickham Lake. Within minutes the Warwick Police, Warwick Fire and Warwick Ambulance were on the scene. They safely secured the area, administered aid to the pilot and prevented any potential environmental issues from the downed plane. We are so blessed to have such professional Police, Fire and Ambulance services equipped to respond quickly to any emergency.
In anticipation of opening the pools at the former Kutz Camp this summer the Town is seeking young men and women as certified lifeguards. If interested please call 986-1120, ext. 241, to find out how to apply for this great summer employment opportunity.
The next regular meeting of the Town Board will be held on Thurs., May 13 at 1 p.m. in the Warwick Town Hall, located at 132 Kings Hwy. in Warwick. Meeting can be viewed live on the Town of Warwick YouTube channel.
