This letter is to show our strong endorsement for reelection of Dave Eaton and team for the WVCSD School Board. Our stellar school system is one of the biggest reasons Warwick is such a great place to live. The school system has not achieved the reputation that it has by accident.
Dave has served on the Board for 16 years including five years as President. Together with Lynn Lillian, Sharon Davis and the other respected members of the current school board, this team has worked closely with Dr. David Leach to create an environment that is exceptional for students and teachers as well as being the envy of other municipalities. Maintaining the high standards of our educational system while keeping a lid on our taxes is no easy task especially in today’s economic and pandemic driven environment.
Dave, Lynn and Sharon have been able to help navigate our schools through these challenging times with a degree of success that we should all appreciate. We’ve known Dave and his wife, Robyn, for over 15 years. They are outstanding citizens with a deep affection for Warwick. As a past President of the Warwick Valley Rotary Club, I’ve had the privilege to work side-by-side with Dave on several successful fundraising events.
Dave brought the same enthusiasm and dedication to the Rotary projects as he has done for many years on the School Board. We believe it is imperative to maintain the continuity we have been so fortunate to have on our School Board. The Board has worked tirelessly to not let the pandemic affect the quality of our kid’s education. We should be thrilled to have a team with a “can-do” attitude that has our school systems best interest at heart.
