Memorial Day is upon us and once again, due to the lingering effects of the pandemic, we are not having our annual parade that so many of us join in to commemorate this solemn day. Services will still be held at our local cemeteries and monument at our local Legion to honor our fallen heroes.
Even if you don’t attend our annual service, everyone should still take a moment on this Memorial Day to observe, honor and reflect upon the ultimate sacrifice that so many of our brave armed forces have made throughout our nation’s history. This sacrifice by our soldiers was not just to keep our nation free, but other nations as well.
Freedom isn’t free, all the men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice have paid that cost so that we can live in the great nation we call home. Thank you for what you have done for us to ensure our freedom.
