Hello Florida,
Spring is officially here and the weather has been cooperating for us to get outdoors and begin the annual spring cleaning of our homes in the Village! As many are prepping for the spring and summer ahead by raking lawns, cleaning out flower beds and prepping lawn mowers for what the year brings, the Village is also planning for the year.
Our DPW is busy flushing our storm drains and sewers of all the rubbish that has accumulated over winter and will clear storm grates along the streets. So please don’t rake your leaves and dead grass into the streets, it only ends up at the storm grates and causes clogging.
The Village will also be closing the park at Glenmere beginning Apr. 1 through Apr. 14 to allow the DPW to work on needed maintenance and improvements for the park this year. This is designed to allow our workers the ability to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively without traffic or pedestrian conflicts. We thank you for your patience during this time.
