About a year ago, the Village of Greenwood Lake partnered with a tremendous group of talented volunteers, the Town of Warwick, Villages of Warwick and Florida, all four Chambers of Commerce throughout the town to begin a town-wide initiative. The initiative is called “Hello Warwick Valley.”
The goal of the initiative is to bring all town-wide stakeholders to the table and streamline access to information for those visiting and those who live and work in our communities. Each group chipped in a small fee to help build a website and put together a marketing team that will work for ALL businesses and organizations throughout the town regardless of their affiliation with a Chamber and at no cost to them. The town, villages and chambers feel strongly about supporting local organizations and small businesses and we know the initiative will be a benefit to all.
The website is still being completed but you can view it at www.hellowarwickvalley.com. We are looking for local photos to share on the page, so if you have any photos of Greenwood Lake (specifically the Thomas Morahan Waterfront Park and the passive boat launch by the firehouse) please share them with us by emailing to mayor@villageofgreenwoodlake.org.
