The Greenwood Lake Public Library has a variety of Valentine related baking pans available to borrow. Also available are a variety of cake, cookie and candy cookbooks. Call 477-8377 for an appointment to come in and browse and check out the selection. The baking pans are checked out for a period of three days.
In addition, the Library kicks off the Winter/Spring Programming with the following events:
For Adults – Chair Yoga with Sara will take place every Monday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon via Zoom. On Sat., Feb. 6 “My Life as a Blue Man” will be held via Zoom from 1 to 2 p.m. with Mark Frankel sharing his adventures as a member of this ground-breaking creative group.
For Children & Young Adults – “The Baking Coach” pre-recorded program will take place on Sat., Feb. 13 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Participants learn how to make heart shaped apple pies for their Valentine! Kits with all the necessary items will be available for pickup prior to the program.
Special Programs for Young Children – The ever-popular “Virtual Story Time” with Ms. Kristin will continue to stream via the link at www.gwllibrary.org. Registered children receive story-related craft packets. Another program, “Music Play Patrol” offers entertaining musical adventures for young ones. These two programs are accessible anytime on the Library’s website.
