The Town of Warwick Police Department is investigating multiple larcenies from vehicles over the last several nights. Police have received reports from several neighborhoods in the town where vehicles parked in driveways were entered and items were removed. According to Police, all of the vehicles had been left unlocked.
The Detective Unit has been conducting interviews and canvassing the neighborhoods that were affected as well as working with other area police departments that are experiencing similar incidents. The detectives are retrieving home videos in an attempt to identify the suspects. If anyone has any information or video, they are asked to contact the Detective Unit by calling 986-5000. Residents are reminded that they should lock their vehicles at night and not leave valuables inside them.
