On Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, Warwick Firefighters responded to multiple storm-related calls for service including a vehicle that struck the Park Avenue Elementary School building in the Village of Warwick.
On Thurs. Dec. 24 at approximately 4:40 p.m. the Town of Warwick Police Department responded to the Park Avenue School for a reported car into the building. The vehicle, a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee, was located in the school yard with heavy damage to the front end. There was extensive damage to the exterior of the building. The operator, Gary Miller, 61, of Warwick, was located at his residence.
