Supervisor Sweeton: 2020 was Trying but Inspiring

Local News News & Updates

For Town information log on to www.townofwarwick.org  or tune to Cablevision Municipal Channel 21.

The Town Board and I would like to wish our residents a very Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Holidays! This has been a very trying year, for many a sad year and a financially devastating year. The spirit of giving and generosity, however, has never been stronger in our Town. The support for our elderly, our health care workers, grocery workers, first responders, small business owners, as well as our neighbors has been nothing but inspiring. Warwick Strong became our rallying cry, and everyone responded.  We now see light at the end of the tunnel and must redouble the efforts that have protected our most vulnerable and kept our local economy solvent. Spend your holidays with love ones, stay safe and enjoy all that this wondrous place has to offer.

The Village of Warwick in conjunction with the Warwick Valley Central School District media department has prepared an amazing “virtual” Christmas Eve sing-a-long from the Old School Baptist Meeting House. Please visit the Village website (villageofwarwick.org), the Town website (townofwarwick.org) or Channel 21 on our local cable system for details and time.

The lobby of Town Hall remains open during the recent uptick in Covid 19 cases across our County with drop boxes to leave forms, water and sewer payments, Building Department applications, etc.

Phone numbers/emails are posted so we can provide services during this disruption.

Arrangements will be made via phone or email for each department to attend to your critical needs throughout this limited access period.
