Hello Florida,
During this time of the year, we’re all trying to get our loved ones something for the holidays and with the pandemic many are going online to ease their shopping needs. I would urge everyone this year to break away from online big box stores and shop local as best you can to support our local businesses.
Our small businesses are still hurting from the pandemic and your dollars being spent locally will not only support a business in Florida, but support our community as a whole. Whether you buy a gift card, order takeout or buy something to wrap and put a bow on, just remember you are helping our great community get through this difficult year together. Contact the Florida Chamber of Commerce for a list of all the great businesses in our community to support.
On Fri., Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. we will have our annual Menorah lighting on the lawn of Village Hall. We encourage everyone who wants to attend to please practice social distancing for everyone’s safety. We will also stream it on Facebook live for all those who would like to see it in the comfort of their own home. Either way, hope to see you there!
