Fire Prevention Chairman of the WFD

  The Warwick Fire Department has responded to 334 calls for service to date. The WFD reminds everyone to change clocks to fall back an hour and to change the batteries in smoke detectors.  

Many home fires are preventable – always remember to keep the community Warwick Fire Safe! Fire Prevention is easy and right from ones smart phone and tablet by visiting www.NFPA.ORG, www.community.nfpa.org or to the children’s interactive site www.sparkyschoolhouse.org.

Weekly Activity

  During the week, the WFD held their monthly scheduled Department Operational Drill at the Engine Company #3 firehouse on South St. Ext. The WFD also completed weekly apparatus and building checks. 

  On Thurs., Oct. 29, the WFD responded for mutual aid to the Greenwood Lake Fire District for a structure fire.  The family unfortunately lost all of their belongings. For those that would like to make a donation, contact the Greenwood Lake Elks Club.  

  On Sat., Oct. 31, the WFD held a Halloween standby at all of their stations and completed rig checks, gear inspections, PESH drills and manned apparatus.  

WFD Raffling Off 65” Roku TV

The Warwick Fire Department is currently raffling off a 65″ Philips ROKU TV at $5 a chance, limited to the first 500 chances. To receive a link to pay for chances, email warwickfire150@gmail.com. Pick up only or local delivery.

Join the Fire Department

  For those who are 16 years of age or older who want to give back to the community, join the Warwick Fire Department.
