Over 100 Residents Tour Former Kutz Camp Property

News & Updates

The Town of Warwick recently held its first “idea” open house at the Kutz Camp, which the Town recently purchased. The 85-acre property is a former camp that was put up for sale last fall. Over one hundred residents came out on Sat., Sept. 26 to tour the property and give their vision for how the Town might operate the facility going forward.

Councilman Russ Kowal and Town Attorney Jay Myrow have been tasked with working with an advisory group of citizens, as well as collating citizen input and presenting a report to the Town Board.  Part of the day included announcing a naming contest for the property.

The Town Board hopes to open the facility in the spring of 2021.  Information on future idea generation sessions and updates on the process will be posted on the Town’s website at www.townofwarwick.org and on the Town’s Facebook page.
