Mayor Harter: Early Voting Has Begun

News & Updates

Hello Florida,

With the final week of October upon us there is much to mention in this weeks’ column. Daylights savings time ends this weekend on Saturday night so remember to turn your clocks back one hour. Halloween is this Saturday, please practice social distancing and wear masks if you choose to trick-or-treat. COVID-19 is still a reality for us so please be safe and smart this Halloween. The Village will have a curfew Sat., Oct. 31 beginning at 8 p.m.; this means anyone outside under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Early voting for the upcoming election has started and will continue until Nov. 1. If you want to vote early now is the time. Our closest location for early voting is the Warwick Town Hall, located at 132 Kings Hwy. in Warwick. The hours to vote vary by the day so please check the Town of Warwick’s website for more details or call 986-1124. If you plan on voting Election Day Nov. 3 polls open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. If you are not sure where to vote on Election Day check out Orange County Board of Elections website for your polling location. However, whether you decide to vote is your choice just get out and vote!
