On Mon., Sept. 21, the Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus Council 4952 hosted its 9th Annual Stanley “Hack” Meduski Memorial Golf Outing at the Warwick Valley Country Club. The 67 Golfers and 10 dinner guests who attended had a great time on a beautiful late summer day.
The annual golf outing started nine years ago to honor Hack Meduski and his wife, Gert, both of whom were long-time members and Golf Champions at WVCC. Hack was also a Charter Member and Officer of the Warwick Valley Knights of Columbus Council. Gert recently celebrated her 96th birthday at home.
Over $8,000 was raised in Hack’s memory that will go to support local food banks, St. Stephen’s Parish programs, local non-profit organizations, and the continuing Charitable works performed by the Warwick Knights of Columbus Council.
The Knights would Like to thank Tom Alberti, Marge Meier and the entire staff of the WVCC for hosting a successful Golf Outing, especially under this year’s Covid-19 restrictions.
