This Friday we remember the over 3,000 lives lost to terrorists on 9/11. Seven members of our Town perished, six at the World Trade Center and one on Flight 93 in Pennsylvania. That horrific day is still very vivid in our minds and continues to be especially sorrowful for the families of loved ones who perished that day.
If you cannot attend one of the ceremonies here in our Town, try to take a few moments on Fri., Sept. 11 to reflect on the loss of human life, as well as the heroism that saved many that day. Please also remember the families left behind, letting them know our community has not forgotten their sacrifice.
A remembrance will be held at Memorial Park at 6 p.m. on Fri., Sept. 11 in the Village of Warwick and at the Greenwood Lake Fire House in the Village of Greenwood Lake. Due to COVID-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
