The Warwick Children’s Book Festival, an annual celebration of children’s literacy presented by the Albert Wisner Public Library, will not be held this year because of public health concerns related to COVID-19. The festival draws about 70 authors and illustrators of books for children to meet with readers, chat about their work and autograph their books. The event, which attracts about 2,000 visitors, raises funds for the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation, which supports the programs and collections of the Library. Library benefactors Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes have sponsored the Festival for many years.
