Cornell Coop. Sends Cards to Police Officers

Featured Articles News & Updates

Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County 4-H Educator Lisa Hintze, along with her daughter, Madison, who is a member of Orange County 4-H, created and sent appreciation cards to all police stations located throughout Orange County. Each card included a handwritten personal note from Madison on behalf of the Orange County 4-H Youth Development Program along with the 4-H pledge.

“I received your card, and it brought a smile to my and the officers faces. We thank you for remembering us in these challenging times. We would all be in a better place if everyone followed the 4-H pledge. The next generation of leaders from 4-H will create a better world for all of us,” said James C. Watt, Chief of Police of the Village of Goshen Police Department.
