Hello Florida,
The 4th of July is this Saturday and as we gather or travel to celebrate our independence this year please remember we are not out of the woods yet with COVID-19. We must wear masks and take proper precautions to ensure that we don’t follow a large portion of the country with a spike in cases. We cannot afford to go backwards in this state, our progress shows that we can control and beat this virus. We do this to protect not only our own loved ones who are susceptible, but also our community members and small businesses.
The Village Board will be holding in person public meetings again this month. The first work session will be Wed. July 1 at 6 p.m. and our monthly board meeting will be July 8 at 7:30 p.m. We will be wearing masks and practicing social distancing measures, we will ask members of the public who choose to attend to do the same. Village Hall will also be open to the public for walk-ins soon. We are finalizing measures within the building to protect the staff and once completed we will be open once again to serve you in person.
