This year’s Hudson Valley Jazz Festival, which will take place from Thurs., Aug. 13 through Sun., Aug. 16, has been scaled back in consideration of the safest way to have live performances during the COVID-19 pandemic.
All performances will be outdoor shows with limited audience sizes. Several musicians are producing their own “Backyard Jazz” shows with relatively smaller ensemble performances with a limited audience size.
In addition, there are discussions with organizations for use of parks and properties. For information and updates about the festival visit www.hudsonvalleyjazzfest.org. The festival is made possible by its supporting public, local grants, donations and of course the musicians who populate the region.
