Joseph Gutierrez was chosen as the recipient of the 2020 Seely & Durland Business Award at the 47th Annual Warwick Valley High School Awards Night. The Business Award scholarship is granted by the high school to a student who maintained high averages in a program of business studies.
Beginning this fall, Joe, eldest son of Jose and Kerri Gutierrez, will attend University at Albany and plans to major in business with a minor in criminal justice.
Joe, who played goalkeeper for the Warwick Valley High School’s Varsity soccer team, was also the recipient of last year’s Coach’s Award, exemplifying great talent, hard work, and leadership.
