Yesterdays restaurant, owned by John and Peggy Christison, celebrated 35 years of being in business on Sun., June 14. The restaurant, located at 29 Main St. in Warwick, has remained open for take-out since its initial dining room closure in mid-March due to COVID-19 restrictions.
“We’ve been open 35 years, and we couldn’t have done it without our loyal Yesterdays family! With what is going on in today’s world we’re not going let it stop our celebration of this milestone,” said John Christison.
During the outdoor festivities, singer Rich Meyer sang ‘Happy Birthday’ and bagpiper Bill Hawkins played a few tunes. Hawkins has been playing at Yesterdays for 25 years, while Meyer has been a friend of the restaurant owners for 30 years.
