The Warwick Valley Humane Society is adhering to established shelter protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic and is closed to visitors and volunteers. Dedicated staff are caring for the animals by cleaning, feeding and medicating them as well as by giving love and attention to each and every one.
The Humane Society is in need of donations of greens, fruits and vegetables for their bunny rabbits and one mouse who lives in Bambi’s Barn. These donations can be left outside by the front door. The Humane Society is located at 48 Public Works Rd. in Warwick.
Donations of supplies listed on their “Wish List” can be accepted by appointment and are greatly appreciated. These items include: bleach, paper towels, paper plates, heavy duty garbage bags, dish detergent, feline/equine type pine pellets, hand sanitizer, cotton balls, Q-tips, exam gloves, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, paper tape, and band-aids.
