This year’s annual “Senior Chair Auction” will be an online auction. The auction benefits the Warwick Valley High School senior’s scholarship fund for those who plan to pursue art in college. For this event, students have taken an ordinary chair, and over the course of several months, transformed it into a work of art. The chairs are auctioned off to the public.
This year was met with new obstacles for these students who had to complete these chairs on their own without the direct help of the Warwick Art Department. Visit the chair auction website through Fri., June 5 to bid at www.warwickartauction.weebly.com or on Facebook.com/WarwickHSChairAuction.
