In honor of National Police Week (Sun., May 10 through Sat., May 16), members of the Town of Warwick Police Department gathered for a photo spearheaded by (from left) Chief Thomas McGovern Jr., Lt. John Rader, Det. Sgt. Alton Morley, Detective Shawn Tetzlaff, Police Officer Katie Oresto, Dispatcher Kelly Chirico, Police Officer Chase Class, Dispatcher Mike Passamano, Police Officer Kevin Terry, Police Officer Russ Circable, Police Officer Pete Guastamacchia, Police Officer Katarzyna Hulak, K-9 Officer Vincent Cossentino with his dog, Tank; Det. Mike Hoffman; & Police Officer Steve Helmrich. In 1962, National Police Week was established to give special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety & protection of others.
