      The Warwick Fire Department (WFD) has responded to 110 calls for service to date as of Sun., Apr. 26.

     While home with your children practice safety with www.Sparky.org learning educational online safety tips to keep your children and you Warwick Fire Safe.

      Fire prevention is a function of the Warwick Fire Department.  The goal of our Warwick Fire Prevention Team is to educate the public to take precautions to prevent potentially harmful fires, and be educated about surviving them.

      It is a proactive method of reducing emergencies and the damage caused by them. Most importantly we want to keep our residents and our neighboring communities fire safe.  Fire Prevention will take place this year from October 5 through Oct. 11.  The national theme will be announced on June 1, follow NFPA.org & Sparky.Org to get up to date educational information on Fire Prevention.

      NYS has issued a burn ban which means no burning of any kind in Warwick until May 14.

Driveway Markers

      If you are in need of a driveway marker for emergencies contact the Warwick Fire Department. We are trying to get all homes properly listed and lengths of driveways marked in the event of a fire or other emergencies.

Knox Box System

      For any business or residential unit owner in the Warwick Fire District that is interested in a Knox box system for gaining entry to their property in the event of an emergency to cause no damage during entry, contact the WFD for further information about this program.

  Firefighters Needed
