With lights flashing and sirens blaring, Warwick’s first responders came out in full force on Sat., Apr. 11 to show their appreciation to healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.
A caravan of emergency service vehicles from the Town of Warwick, its three Villages as well as hamlets and neighboring towns in New Jersey, met in Veterans Memorial Park on Forester Ave. in Warwick.
They drove to St. Anthony Community Hospital campus on the corner of Grand St. and Maple Ave. where the parade of emergency vehicles paid tribute to everyone working in the hospital as well as the Schervier Pavilion skilled nursing facility and the assisted living facility at Mt. Alverno Center.
