Editor,
Over the past year, I have had the honor and pleasure of working with Corey Bachman. I’ve rarely met a person so willing to listen to the concerns of the people around him and never met one so determined to take action on issues he feels are important to his neighbors.
We live in a village that has worked hard to keep itself a place we can be proud to call our home. We value our land and our landmarks as a sign of what we hold in esteem. Corey is the candidate who has taken up the issue of our quality of life over the prioritization of development since the first day I met him.
Corey is a proud Warwickian. His enthusiasm to better our community is unmatched by anyone I have met in my time living here. His commitment to the Warwick Historical Society, the Friendly Visitor Program and the Warwick Lion’s Club show this better than his words ever could.
It is myopic and shortsighted to claim that qualification for leadership depends on the length of time you’ve lived here. New people bring perspectives not found in institutional candidates. We should value their new points of view and use this opportunity to make our community an even better place to live. I proudly support Corey for Warwick Village Trustee and I hope your readers will as well.
