The Warwick Fire Department (WFD) has responded to 78 calls for service to date as of Mon., Mar. 23.
A message about the Coronavirus from the Warwick Fire Department: We are constantly in contact with the O.C. Health Department and the O.C. Department of Emergency Services to keep our community and our firefighters safe. We have taken all necessary precautions and actions to keep our first responders on the frontline Warwick Fire Safe.
Below is an update from the O.C. Department of Emergency Services:
Orange County Emergency Management would like to take a moment to share the collaborative information communicated by our Federal and State partners as well as to update O.C. residents on the actions underway currently. Due to the increasingly fluidity of the situation and the continuous change in information, please remember that while we are working to provide updates as much as possible all information contained is subject to change at any time. Orange County would also like to personally thank every single doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner, medical office staff, health care professional, and first responder who is working tirelessly to help the residents impacted by this virus – we can never thank you enough. ️
Orange County continues to be in daily (sometimes hourly) contact with our federal and state partner agencies to work to obtain necessary supplies for our community responders, and maintains active communication with all health care facilities for updated information on patient tracking and equipment and supply status. County Executive Steve Neuhaus is also participating in daily conference calls with the NYS Governor’s office and all municipal officials, as well as regular conference calls with health care providers, supermarkets, school superintendents, and other community-based agencies.
