On Wed., Apr. 1 at 7:15 p.m. the Florida Chamber of Commerce invites all community members to attend a special presentation titled, “Substance Abuse in our Community.” This meeting will be held at S.S. Seward Institute Cafetorium, located at 51 North Main St. in Florida, NY. Orange County District Attorney David M. Hoovler will be the guest speaker for the evening presentation and discussion.
Elections are coming up within our Village. On Tues., Mar. 18 please take a moment out of your day and participate by casting your ballot. Up for election this year is the position of mayor and two trustees. The terms are for three years, polls will open at 12 noon and close at 9 p.m. Voting will take place at the Florida senior center, located behind Village Hall on 33 South Main St. Please come out and vote!
