On behalf of the Warwick Area Migrant Committee, I would like to express our gratitude to the Warwick Community for their generosity during the holiday season. Gifts donated through the Angel Tree were much appreciated by the 150 families served this holiday. The gifts benefited over 300 children in these families.
The families we serve generally work as farm workers, and the winter season is especially difficult. The generosity of the Warwick Community has made this holiday very special. We are all grateful for this kindness!
During Homework Club, I see the coats, scarves and gloves, which were donated, being used by the children. One of the children told me he did not want to take off his coat since it was so warm. The Warwick Community is one that expresses kindness and compassion that was very clear this holiday season.
